"Alexa, make dinner"-- don't you wish that it could do that?
So many nights at 4 or 5 o'clock, that terrible thought lingers in the back of my brain: "What can I make for dinner that's healthy AND that everyone can eat?"
Here are 10 quick healthy ideas based on my Meal Rhythm framework from the Wellness Cohort program-- so you can make meals that boost your metabolism AND make them work for busy families.
Here's one meal idea from each of the themes I use in my meal planning Wellsheet you can find here on Pinterest.
SOUP: Lemon Rosemary Chicken Noodle Soup made with rotisserie chicken + chicken broth.
MEXICAN: Crispy Black Bean and Beef Tacos with Quick Coleslaw from the Slim Down Recipe Club
ENTREE SALAD: Weekly Salad No. 20 Turkey Bacon & Apple Salad
PASTA: Simple Skillet Ziti Bake with High Fiber Noodles (try Barilla Plus or Banza)
CHICKEN: Grilled Spice-Rubbed Chicken Thighs with Brown Rice + Green Beans
INSTAPOT: Quick Beef Stew
PORK: Sheet Pan Pork Tenderloin with Pre-chopped roasted Vegetables

I plan all my meals based on a weekly rotation: Monday is soup and sandwich night, Tuesday is Tacos or Mexican, Wednesday is Pasta, Thursday is Fish, Friday is Grill Night and Saturday is Chicken... these change with our season, sports and so forth but rhythms can change too! And within a week, if I want to switch a meal based on what I feel like, I already have those ingredients!
